Nanjing University of Science and Technology (南京理工大学, NJUST, website) is a national key university of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It is located in Nanjing, the ancient capital. The school was founded in 1953 by the People’s Liberation Army Military Engineering Institute of the People’s Liberation Army. In 1993, it was renamed Nanjing University of Science and Technology.
