Boda College of Jilin Normal University (吉林师范大学博达学院, website) is located in Siping, a beautiful hero city in the Songliao Plain. The college started preparations at the end of 1999. In April 2000, it was officially approved by the Jilin Provincial Education Committee as a second-level college of Jilin Normal University. The first batch of freshmen entered the school that fall. In March 2004, it was approved as an independent college by the Ministry of Education. In the continuous exploration of school running practice, Boda College has gradually formed its own school running characteristics and brand advantages.
The college has two campuses, covering an area of more than 660,000 square meters. It has a quiet environment, complete teaching facilities, advanced teaching equipment, and a good learning environment. The new campus will invest 900 million yuan and will be completed in two phases. At present, the comprehensive building, library, gymnasium, student dormitory, and cafeteria have been put into use. When all the buildings are completed, together with the original campus, it can form a scale that can accommodate 15,000 students.
Boda College of Jilin Normal University has national outstanding teachers, provincial teaching masters and provincial outstanding teaching teams.
