Zhejiang University City College (ZUCC) is located in the city of Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China. Hangzhou is the capital of Zhejiang Province, which is the political, economic, cultural and educational center of this region. Hangzhou is acknowledged as the most famous tourist destination and one of the most significant historical and cultural cities in China.Zhejiang University City College is a university approved by China’s Ministry of Education and Zhejiang Provincial government and jointly founded in July 1999 by Hangzhou Municipal Government and Zhejiang University. It has a total area of 156 acres with a floor space of 4.3 million square feet. The university currently has around 13100 students, made up of nine subordinate schools and one Sino-foreign cooperative educational institution(The University of Waikato Joint Institute at Zhejiang University City College). Together they offer 40 undergraduate degree programs in science, engineering, liberal arts, law, medicine, finance and management. Foreign Teacher Recruitment Notice

The School of Foreign Languages in Zhejiang University City College (ZUCC) is seeking several highly-qualified teachers to contribute to the undergraduate courses such as English Speaking, Comprehensive English, Business English, etc. The teaching focuses on the relevant courses to a group of approximately 30-40students for each class; assess students’ performance, including papers, tests and exams.

Contract:full-time; lecture 16 periods (45 minutes for each) per week or equivalent, hold 2-hour office hour twice a week and publicize the schedule concerned;

Benefits:

1. Air flight reimbursement equivalent to USD1200 on top, for international flight tickets from hometown to China for an academic year;

Required qualifications: Native English speakers from USA, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand; – Bachelor degree or above

Preferred qualifications: At least two-year Teaching experience or TESOL/TEFL certificate

Salary:Commensurate with experience and qualifications；be paid 11 months for one academic year.
