Communication University of Zhejiang (website) has two campuses, located in Xiasha, Hangzhou and Wuzhen, Tongxiang. The university covers an area of 1,305 mu with a total construction area of 566,000 square meters. The total number of faculty and staff in the school is 1232, and the annual employment rate of graduates is over 95%.
Communication University of Zhejiang has a broadcasting art school, a television art school, an animation and digital art school, an international cultural communication school (international education school), a film school, a media engineering school, a design art school, a cultural and creative management school, a liberal arts college, The School of Journalism and Communication, the 11 secondary colleges of the Conservatory of Music and the Marxist College, the University of Physical Education Department, the Ministry of Public Art Education, the Department of Education and the School of Continuing Education, and the School of Entrepreneurship (Employment Guidance Center), currently have undergraduate courses. More than 13,000 students have been established; there are 10 provincial and above research institutions including Media Communication Optimization Collaborative Innovation Center, Journalism and Communication Research Institute, Intelligent Media Technology Research Institute, Zhejiang Cultural Industry Development Research Center and National Animation Teaching Research Base.
Communication University of Zhejiang has a master’s degree program in journalism and communication. Since 2012, it has recruited graduate students for 7 consecutive years. There are 179 graduate students. In September 2017, our school and the University of Bolton University in the United Kingdom, the Master of Visual Communication Master Education Program officially began enrolling students, and currently has 42 graduate students.
Communication University of Zhejiang cooperated with the national radio and television system to establish more than 340 production, education and research practice teaching bases, including four overseas practice bases, actively constructing a platform for students’ professional practice and employment, and included one of the national-level college students’ off-campus practice education base construction projects, provincial level. There are 2 college students’ off-campus practice education base construction projects and 125 national-level college students’ innovation and entrepreneurship training program.
Communication University of Zhejiang has established friendly relations and cooperation with more than 60 institutions of higher learning in North America, Europe, Asia, Australia and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Each year, nearly 300 people are sent to partner universities including Columbia University, University of Pennsylvania and Edinburgh University. Exchange Students. The school employs more than 30 foreign teachers each year. In 2015, the undergraduate education program for clothing and apparel design with Coventry University in the UK officially began enrolling students. In the same year, the first batch of international key professional construction projects in Zhejiang Province – the broadcasting host art (bilingual direction) professionally recruited the first batch of international students.
