Yangling Vocational and Technical College (杨凌职业技术学院) is a provincial full-time ordinary college. Approved by the Ministry of Education in 1999, the former national key secondary technical school Shaanxi Agricultural School, Shaanxi Province Water Conservancy School, and provincial and ministerial key technical secondary school Shaanxi Forestry School were merged and established. The history of the college can be traced back to 1934. The National Northwest Agriculture and Forestry College established by General Yang Hucheng has higher vocational education. Since its establishment 84 years ago, it has cultivated more than 210,000 professional and technical personnel of various types, which has made important contributions to the economic and social development of Shaanxi and even the northwestern region, and has won more than 60 provincial-level awards. The college is located in the Guanzhong Plain, known as the 800-mile Qinchuan. It is the main resident unit of Yangling, China ’s agricultural silicon valley, and the first national high-tech agricultural demonstration zone in the country. It is 60 kilometers away from Xi’an in the east and 80 kilometers away from Baoji in the west. The Longhai Railway, Xibao High Speed Rail and Lianhuo Expressway, and Xibao Middle Line run east to west, and the transportation is convenient. Yangling Vocational and Technical College has continuously deepened school-enterprise cooperation and integration of production and education.
