Gregory from Bordeaux, France said “Xiamen, my second hometown”. Many citizens have been guests of Gregory. He runs a French restaurant on the bank of Yundang Lake, which is very popular. When he first arrived in China more than ten years ago, he traveled to many places, such as Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Beijing, Shanghai, etc., and finally Xiamen kept him, “It is very similar to my hometown, Bordeaux, close to the sea, beautiful scenery, and climate. Pleasant.” More than ten years have passed, and his love for Xiamen has grown deeper and deeper.
Sanno from the Netherlands said, “Everything is good in Xiamen, like heaven!” The Dutch guy Sanno who has been in Xiamen for six years “Heavenly Xiamen, city of dreams”. He said, “My hometown is very cold, and my dream since I was a child is to live in a place like spring all the year round. Xiamen makes me get what I want, and it feels like on vacation at work.” He said, “What dream do you have, say it boldly. It can be realized.” Sanno, who studied fashion design, completed his first business in Xiamen. Now there are two clothing stores and a clothing factory outside the island.

I needed to carry water to my residence by myself, and the power was often cut off. We never thought that the change would be so rapid. At that time, I really I thought it would take 70 or 80 years. I never thought I could live such a good life in Xiamen.”
