Introduction to Capital Normal University High School
Capital Normal University High School (首师大附中, website) is the first batch of key middle schools in Beijing and the first batch of demonstration high schools in Beijing. It is also a base for the promotion of Chinese in Beijing.
The school was founded in 1914. In 2002, the school was recognized as the first batch of Beijing Model High Schools.
As of 2016, the school covers an area of 30,600 square meters, a construction area of 39,800 square meters, and has 282 faculty members. The school has 40 junior high school classes and 2100 junior high school students; the school has about 1400 high school students.
