Founded in 1976, Shangluo University (website: http://www.slxy.cn) is a higher education institution located in the large city of Shangluo, Shaanxi province. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Department of Education, Shaanxi Province, Shangluo University is a coeducational higher education institution. Shangluo University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study.
In 2018, Shangluo University was identified as the “first-class college” construction unit in Shaanxi Province, and became a member of the new undergraduate college alliance nationwide. Since the founding of the school, the school has been adhering to the university spirit of “self-improvement and perfection”. The school has 3 campuses covering an area of more than 900 acres. It has Marxism College, Humanities College, School of Economics and Management, School of Health Management, School of Mathematics and Computer Applications, School of Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering, School of Chemical Engineering and Modern Materials, School of Biomedical and Food Engineering, School of Urban and Rural Planning and Architectural Engineering. , Art College, Continuing Education College, 11 secondary colleges and physical education research department. Shangluo University offers 40 undergraduate majors in 10 disciplines including law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, management and art. Admission to 28 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, more than 10,000 students.

About Shangluo
Shangluo (
Panorama) is a small city located in the southeastern part of the Shaanxi Province. Transportation in Shangluo mainly relies on highways and railways. It has a population of 2.44 million up till the end of 2010. The city is 110 km. (68 mi.) away from the provincial capital city Xi’an.
Shangluo is rich in tourism resources including nature and human landscape, cultural relics and historical sites. At present, there are some 1,200 ancient ruins and architecture, twenty of which are under provincial or national protection. The Paleolithic sites discovered in Luonan was rated as one of the ten greatest national archeological discoveries in 1997. Besides, Sihao tomb built in Han Dynasty, Confucious’ temple of Sui Dynasty, Fengyang Tower of Tang Dynasty and town god’s temple of Ming Dynasty are all hot tourist attractions in Shangluo. Besides, the fascinating Zhashui Karst Cave, located in Zhashui county is famous far and near for its unique karst view and enchanting landscape.
