Nanyang Normal University (南阳师范学院) is a general undergraduate university in Henan Province. It was founded in 1951 as the Henan Provincial Nanyang Normal School, upgraded to Nanyang Normal College in 1958, and upgraded to Nanyang Normal College in 2000. In 2007, it passed the evaluation of the undergraduate teaching work level of the Ministry of Education.
