Beijing University of Technology (北京工业大学, website) was founded in 1960. It is a multi-disciplinary city-level key university with a combination of engineering, science, economics, management, literature, law, art, and education. In 1981, it became the first batch of master’s degree granting units approved by the Ministry of Education, and in 1985, it became a doctoral degree granting unit. In 1996, it passed the pre-examination of the “211 Project” and officially entered the ranks of the top 100 universities in the country in the 21st century. . In September 2017, the school officially entered the ranks of national first-class discipline construction universities. 7 disciplines ranked among the top 500 in QS World University Rankings 2019, ranked 33rd in the 2019 China University Rankings released by QS, and 5 disciplines of Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering, Environment and Ecology, and Computer Science entered ESI 1%.

Beijing University of Technology offers 65 undergraduate majors, graduate majors covering 34 disciplines and 27 master’s degree authorization points; 33 first-level disciplines, 20 first-degree doctoral degree authorization points, and 33 first-degree master’s degree authorization points There are 12 professional degree authorization categories; 18 post-doctoral mobile stations with 207 people on the station.
