Introduction to Fuyuan British American School
Founded in 2002 and approved by Guangdong Provisional Department of Education, Shenzhen Fuyuan British American School (深圳富源英美学校, website) is the institution engaged in overseas education projects. We are the authorised examination centre for IGCSE and A-level exams and teaching school for junior secondary, IGCSE and A-level courses by the Cambridge Assessment International Examination Board, thus making us one of the few renowned schools gaining such recognition. At the same time, Shenzhen Fuyuan British American School offers American high school courses which are based on the SAT and TOEFL curriculum. The School also collaborates with the University High School, Lutheran High School, Francis Parker School and other high schools in California, USA, to set up the joint American High school, Shenzhen Campus, in Shenzhen Fuyuan British American School.
Students completing Cambridge international junior curriculum can choose to study the British High School Curriculum or the American High School Curriculum mentioned above in our school.
As of April 2019, the school covers an area of 380,000 square meters, with a building area of 280,000 square meters; it has five departments: Early Childhood Department, Elementary School, Junior High School, High School, and British and American Schools; there are more than 8,000 students and full-time teachers More than 580 people; the library has 160,000 books.
