William said: “I am now teaching English at Xiangyang No. 4 Middle School and have been working here for 10 years. I like the ancient city here, the people here, and the architecture here. Xiangyang is gradually developed from a civilized ancient city to a modern city, I have never seen this process of transition from such ancient culture to modern in the United States. I am very interested in this. The biggest feeling is that the United States is a young country with a relatively short history, while China is a country with a long history. Chinese culture has lasted from the past to the present, and is constantly developing and changing. I love China very much, and I also love Xiangyang No. 4 Middle School, the place I work. My two children are both in China; my elder son is now teaching English at an international school in Qingdao, and the younger son is a sports coach in Shanghai. We are very satisfied with our life in China.”
