This time we invited Mr. Edmund Morton, who is currently working in the Language Center of the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC).
Edmund Morton is from the UK and is currently an English lecturer at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). His humorous teaching style is very popular among students.
One of Edmund’s hobbies is music, especially heavy metal. Although some people find this type of music too loud, Edmund feels that heavy metal music has a strong emotional expression and can calm our anger, anxiety or excitement.
He recently learned about the K-Star Campus Singers Competition, and although he’s not a good singer, he thinks it’s a great format that encourages more students to be active and express themselves.
Like many students, Edmund’s favorite place to visit is the USTC1958 Café. This is the place where he used to prepare and discuss with his colleagues when he first came to teach at USTC.
