Introduction to Olive Tree International Academy BFSU
Olive Tree International Academy BFSU (北外附属杭州橄榄树学校, website) was founded in September 2017. It is a private high-end international curriculum school. The school is located in Yishang Town, Linping New City, Hangzhou, close to Yuhang Station of High-speed Railway and Yuhang Exit of Shanghai-Hangzhou Expressway. The school introduces the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), high school level English learning A Level courses, MSA Mid-America accredited AP courses, and will gradually offer IBDP courses.
The school currently has about 1,000 students, and the teacher-student ratio is as high as 1:4. Among the Chinese teaching teams, 50% have won national, provincial and municipal outstanding honors; all foreign teachers have international teacher qualification certificates, with an average teaching experience of more than 10 years. Olive Tree’s Chinese and foreign teaching team, 75% are masters or doctoral degrees, graduated from top universities in the world, such as the University of Pennsylvania, Columbia University, Purdue University; Oxford University, University College London (UCL), London School of Economics, Warwick University, Edinburgh University, Central Saint Martins College, University of the Arts London; National University of Singapore, and the University of Hong Kong, China.
