
On September 11, 2025, the School of Foreign Languages of South China University of Technology held the first semester management meeting for all foreign teachers of the 2025-2026 academic year in the college conference room, hosted by Vice Dean Professor Xu Ying.
The meeting aimed to strengthen the construction of the foreign teacher team, clarify new semester goals, enhance management services, ensure teaching quality, and promote in-depth integration of Chinese and foreign educational and cultural exchanges. It focused on interpreting the newly revised Regulations on the Education and Management of Foreign Teachers’ Ethics and Conduct and Code of Daily Conduct for Foreign Teachers, emphasizing that ethics is the primary standard for evaluating teachers and the code guides foreign teachers’ work and life.
Foreign teachers consulted on concerns and received detailed answers. They stated a clearer understanding of the system and willingness to comply. In his conclusion, Xu Ying stressed standardized management’s importance and the college’s commitment to optimizing services.
The meeting marks the college’s foreign teacher management moving toward standardization, refinement and humanization, laying a foundation for the new semester and uniting efforts for better international education and talent cultivation.
