Employer: School of International Studies, Zhejiang University
Duration of Contract: one-year full time
Qualifications:
- Native English speakers from English speaking countries such as the USA, the UK, Canada or Australia.
- Bachelor degree or above, TESOL or TEFL certificate is preferred.
- More than one year English teaching experience with high school or college students.
Responsibilities: Your duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
- carrying out teaching assignments (TOEFL speaking, IELTS speaking, English for Specific Purposes, American or British culture and so on) based on the needs of the university
- preparing course syllabus and teaching materials and sending them to the School of International Studies before each course starts,
- teaching outreach programs at local high schools or communities,
- teaching other programs such as workshops or lectures for teachers’ professional development
- program designing such as culture activities for students.
Your annual workload (one-year full time) is 480 classes, each of which is 45 minutes. You may need to work on weekends as required by the programs of the School of International Studies.
