Introduction to Nanjing University of Finance and Economics Hongshan College

Nanjing University of Finance and Economics Hongshan College (南京财经大学红山学院, website) was established in 1999. It is an independent college approved by the Ministry of Education and established by Nanjing University of Finance and Economics, a well-known domestic university of finance and economics, and a key university in Jiangsu Province, to train ordinary full-time undergraduate talents.

The college has two campuses, Qiaotou and Fujian Road. The campus covers a total area of nearly 1,300 acres, the total building area of the school building is 330,000 square meters, and its own collection of more than 1.1 million books. The college currently has more than 8,800 students. The first and second grade students are studying at Qiaotou campus, and the third and fourth grade students are studying at Fujian Road campus.

Job Description:
The role of a Foreign English teacher is to help our students speak English and improve English practical skills. You will have about 16 classes per week, each class for 45 minutes; there is no office hours required for this position.

1. Teaching Courses
a. English majors such as oral English, audiovisual listening, business English listening and speaking (mainly listening and speaking).
b. British culture, English-speaking country profile, interpretation, Cambridge business English, business English translation, business negotiation, etc.

2. Requirements
a. Graduated from colleges and universities, from English-speaking countries such as Britain, the United States, Canada, and Australia.
b. More than one year of language teaching experience is preferred.

3. Salary
The basic salary is RMB 8,500-12,000, and the workload is about 14 hours per week. If you have dual degree/3 years of teaching experience, salary will raise 800 yuan. 800 yuan raise is for teaching with TEFL certificate;

4. Work location
Hongshan College of Nanjing University of Finance and Economics has three campuses: Qiaotou (Zhenjiang, Jiangsu), Fujian Road (Gulou District, Nanjing), and Gaochun (under construction). In the fall semester of 2021, the college will be relocated as a whole to Gaochun Campus, Nanjing. Foreign teachers will mainly work in Gaochun campus and Fujian Road campus.

5. Accommodation
Accommodation is on campus, with independent bathroom, water and electricity, wireless network, and basic furniture.
