Established in 1905, The High School Affiliated to Hunan Normal University is the first batch of demonstrative general high schools in Hunan Province and is directly subordinate to the provincial government.
In order to realize the goal of international education and provide diversified development channels for students, the school introduced the AP curriculum system and the Cambridge A-Level curriculum system, and opened the International Curriculum Center for High School Affiliated to Hunan Normal University. Since its establishment in 2011, the International Department has successfully delivered nearly 300 graduates to universities in Britain, the United States, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand to attend undergraduate studies.

- Native English speakers from UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Ireland or New Zealand
