1. Overview
Established in 2004, Yunnan Engineering Vocational College (云南工程职业学院, website) is a full-time general college approved by the Yunnan Provincial People’s Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. New achievements have been made in the connotation construction of the school, with distinctive features and advantages, high social recognition, and the employment rate and quality of graduates have steadily increased. The school covers an area of 659 acres and has more than 750 faculty members. Among the full-time teachers, there are 3 provincial-level teaching teachers and more than 12,000 full-time students. There are two “six schools and colleges” under the school, including the School of Architecture and Engineering, the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, the School of Economics and Information Technology, the School of Education, the Five-year Higher Vocational College, the International College, and the Department of Ideological and Basic Education.
