Yanhuang Technological College (炎黄职业技术学院, website) is a full-time non-governmental college approved by the Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government and officially approved by the Ministry of Education. The college implements the national unified enrollment plan and issues college diplomas supervised by the Ministry of Education, registered electronically, and accessible online. Established in 1999, the college has gone through the process of preparing for the establishment of a school, affiliated schools, independent schools, formal verification of the Ministry of Education’s preparations, and successfully passing the qualification assessment of the Ministry of Education. The campus covers an area of ??206,000 square meters, with a building area of ??nearly 120,000 square meters. The college consists of three-year colleges and five-year colleges. It has six departments, including the Department of Construction Engineering, the Department of Mechanical and Electrical Information Engineering, the Department of Economic Management, the Department of Fashion Design, the Department of Automotive Engineering, and the Department of Leisure and Tourism. 35 majors including automobile inspection and repair, computer application and maintenance, electronic information engineering, construction engineering technology, mechatronics technology, accounting, tourism management, applied English, character image design, flight attendant, etc., covering science, engineering, and economics The five discipline categories of Management, Management and Arts cover seven occupational job groups and industries in manufacturing, civil engineering, electronic information, finance, tourism, transportation, and education.
Yanhuang Technological College has 88 classes, more than 4,000 students, and currently has 220 faculty members and 192 full-time and part-time teachers, including 59 senior titles, 35 graduate degrees, and 62 dual-teacher (double-teacher quality). A team of teachers with full-time teachers as the main body, a reasonable structure and good quality has been initially formed. In the 19 years of running the school, it has trained more than 14,000 graduates for the society, becoming an important base for the training of vocational colleges in northern Jiangsu and Huaian, and has made outstanding contributions to the economic and social development of Huaian and Lianshui.
Yanhuang Technological College has agreed to run classes with a number of universities in the province with the consent of the Provincial Department of Education. In addition, it has also cooperated with the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Huaiyin Institute of Technology to organize online education, adult education undergraduate classes, etc., and has shown a trend of running schools through multiple channels. The college also conducts in-depth school-enterprise cooperation with many enterprises, such as jointly training engineers with SAIC Nanjing Automobile Company, and Huaian Yuantong Hat Making Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Shagang Group Huaigang Company, China Youth Travel Agency, Jinshiyuan Group, Derun Hotel, Foxconn, Zhending Technology, Darfon Electronics, a number of construction and decoration companies, auto repair shops, etc. have carried out in-depth school-enterprise cooperation, and gradually realized the goal of cultivating talents by order.
