Soochow University (Suda) is located in Suzhou, a historical and cultural city known as the “paradise on earth”. It is the first batch of national “211 Project” and “2011 Plan”. It is the “double-class” construction jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the People’s Government of Jiangsu Province. Founded in 1900, Soochow University is the first of its kind in modern higher education. It is the first university in China to be organized by the modern university discipline system. Campus
Soochow University has three campuses, Tiancihuang Campus, Dushu Lake Campus and Yangcheng Lake Campus. It covers an area of 3,586 mu and has a construction area of 1.58 million square meters.
