Shenzhen Institute of Information Technology (深圳信息职业技术学院, website) was established in April 2002. It is a public full-time institution of higher learning organized by the Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government and approved by the Guangdong Provincial Government and filed by the Ministry of Education.

The Shenzhen Institute of Information Technology campus covers 925,000 square meters (1389 acres) with a building area of 548,800 square meters.
