Shandong University of Technology (SDUT), founded in 1956, is now a provincial key university of Science and Engineering.The campus is situated in the city of Zibo, which is the cradle of ancient Qi-culture.

Shandong University of Technology takes fostering morality and cultivating talents as the fundamental task. The talent-cultivating system covers undergraduate programs, master-degree programs and PhD programs as well as short-term language training programs and ‘culture’ classes for overseas students. Shandong University of Technology is one of the accredited Chinese Institutions that can admit international students under Chinese Government Scholarship Programs. It is also one of the Institutions admitting international students under Shandong Provincial Government Scholarship Programs, one of the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) network quiz points, and one of the International Chinese Language Teacher Certificate test centers. About Zibo
Zibo (
Panorama) is a prefecture-level city in central Shandong province, China; Zibo’s total population is 4.53 million according to the 2010 census. Zibo is a national “advanced city invigorating itself through science and technology”, “cultural model city” and “technology-intensive area”. There are 14 institutions of higher education, among them only the Shandong University of Technology and Wanjie Medical College are able to confer the bachelor’s degree. There are also postgraduate education and PhD programs in Shandong University of Technology.
