Shaanxi Business College (陕西工商职业学院, website) is a public full-time general higher vocational college sponsored by the Shaanxi Provincial People’s Government, headed by the Provincial Department of Education, and filed by the Ministry of Education.
The main campus of the college is located in the university town of Chang’an District, Xi’an, and is connected to the national high-tech industrial development zone in the west. The school building covers an area of more than 380,000 square meters. Shaanxi Business College consists of the School of Accounting, the School of Financial Management, the School of Logistics Management, the School of Finance and Insurance, the School of Tourism and Hotel Management, the School of Public Management, the School of Engineering and Architecture, the School of Information and Intelligent Technology, the School of Culture and Media, and Sino-German Mechanical and Electrical 13 secondary colleges, including the School of Engineering, the Sino-German Automotive Technology Institute, the Sino-Swiss Hotel Management School, and the Preschool Teachers College. Shaanxi Business College participated in the National Higher Vocational College Skills Competition and won 1 first prize, 8 first prizes, 21 second prizes and 40 third prizes; it participated in Shaanxi Higher Vocational Skills Competition and won 33 first prizes, 51 second prizes and 62 third prizes. The level and number of awards rank among the top universities in the province. The school is based in Shaanxi and recruits students from all over the country. There are more than 15,000 students in middle and high vocational schools. 60% of the higher vocational students and 80% of the secondary vocational students in the school have received national scholarships, school scholarships, corporate scholarships and tuition-free subsidies.
