Minzu University of China is a college with distinctive characteristics created by the country to solve China’s ethnic problems and train minority cadres and senior professionals. The school’s predecessor was the Yan’an University for Nationalities, which was established in 1941. The new campus is located on the banks of Qinglong Lake in Fengtai District, Beijing, covering an area of 810,000 square meters. It is currently under construction, and the first batch of students is scheduled to officially enter in September 2020. The school has more than 4.8 million volumes of various books and e-books. The collection of ethnology and Chinese minority languages and literature books ranks among the top universities in China.
