Hunan International Economics University (湖南涉外经济学院, website) is a private general undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education. The school was founded in 1997, formerly known as “Xiangnan College of Arts and Sciences”; relocated to Lugu Garden, Yuelu District, Changsha City in 1998, and renamed “Hunan Foreign Economics College (Preparation)”; in 2000, it was approved to be established as a higher vocational college College; approved by the Ministry of Education and the People’s Government of Hunan Province in 2005 and upgraded to an undergraduate college.
