Introduction to Harbin Normal University
Harbin Normal University (哈尔滨师范大学, website) is located in Harbin, a historical and cultural city known as the “Bingcheng Summer Capital”. It is an important personnel training base and scientific research base for education, art, humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences in Heilongjiang Province. It is a key building of Heilongjiang Province. High-level universities are excellent schools for the evaluation of undergraduate teaching work of the Ministry of Education. The school is a national “fundamental capacity building project for colleges and universities in the central and western regions” and one of the hundred central and western undergraduate colleges and universities that were supported by the state during the “13th Five-Year Plan” period.
Harbin Normal University was founded in 1951. Its predecessor was the Songjiang Provincial Xingzhi Normal School established in 1946. It experienced the period of Harbin Teachers College (1951-1956) and Harbin Normal University (1956-1980). For Harbin Normal University. In 2000, Hulan Teachers College and Heilongjiang Agricultural Reclamation Teachers College merged.
