Guangxi University Xingjian College of Science and Liberal Arts (广西大学行健文理学院, website) is a full-time undergraduate university (independent college) established by Guangxi University and Guangxi Xida Education Development Co., Ltd. in accordance with the new mechanism and new model, approved by the Ministry of Education. In January 2005, it passed the special inspection by the Ministry of Education on the conditions for running independent colleges. November 2011 was listed as a bachelor’s degree authorized unit.
The college is located in Nanning, the capital of Guangxi with a picturesque “green city” reputation. It is located northeast of Guangxi University, next to the peaceful and elegant Nanning Flower Park. Guangxi University was founded in 1928. It is the largest comprehensive university with the longest history of running a school in Guangxi. It is the only national “211 Project” construction school in Guangxi. Guangxi University Xingjian College of Science and Liberal Arts has three professional teaching units: the Department of Commerce, the Department of Humanities, and the Department of Science and Technology, and the two public teaching units of Marxism College and Public Basic Teaching Department.
