Dalian University of Technology (website) is the first new formal university founded by the Communist Party of China. The university is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education. Dalian University of Technology was established in April 1949, when it was the School of Engineering of Dalian University; in July 1950, the establishment of Dalian University was abolished, and the School of Engineering of Dalian University was independently Dalian Institute of Technology; in October 1960, it was identified as a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education; In April 1986, the Graduate School was established; in March 1988, it was renamed Dalian University of Technology; in 1996, the “211 Project” was launched, and the Ministry of Education, Liaoning Province and Dalian City jointly built Dalian University of Technology; in 2001, the “985 Project” was launched. In December 2012, the Ministry of Education officially approved the construction of the Panjin Campus of Dalian University of Technology. The university is surrounded by mountains and seas and has excellent school conditions. School of Foreign Languages

The School of Foreign Languages (website) of Dalian University of Technology was founded in 1985. In that year, the university established the Department of Foreign Languages, established an English major, and established a Japanese major in 2001. In 2003, the Department of Foreign Languages was reorganized into a foreign language school, and was granted a master’s degree in English language and literature. In 2010, he obtained a master’s degree in foreign language and literature.
