College of Mobile Telecommunications, Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications (重庆邮电大学移通学院, website) was established in 2000 and is approved by the Ministry of Education. It is an independent college organized by Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications and recruits students nationwide.
The college is located in Hechuan University Town, Chongqing. The campus is surrounded by mountains and rivers, with beautiful surroundings and convenient transportation. It currently covers an area of more than 1350 acres, with a total construction area of nearly 500,000 square meters. The total value of teaching instruments and equipment exceeds 110 million yuan. There are more than 100 off-site practice training bases and 1.56 million books and materials. There are 9 secondary colleges including the School of Communication and Internet of Things Engineering, the School of Intelligent Engineering, the School of Big Data and Software, the School of Refined Business, the School of Vision, the School of Sino-Germany, the School of Art and Media, the School of Creative Writing, and the School of Entrepreneurship Department, two departments of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature, four teaching departments, as well as the unique full education committee, dual-system talent education base and other departments. A total of 36 undergraduate majors including communications engineering, electrical engineering and its automation, rail transit and signal control, financial management, engineering management, radio and television choreography, and 4 specialties such as communications technology and business enterprise management have been formed, professional system for the coordinated development of the five majors of economics, management, literature and art. There are currently 21,000 students at the school. At present, there are more than 980 full-time teachers and more than 10 foreign teachers.
