Changsha Social Work College (长沙民政职业技术学院, website) was founded by the Ministry of Civil Affairs in 1984. It is now an ordinary higher education institution directly under the Hunan Provincial Department of Education, jointly established by the Hunan Provincial People’s Government and the Ministry of Civil Affairs. The school is the first batch of (28) national model higher vocational colleges 1. The first batch (8) excellent higher vocational and technical college construction units in Hunan Province. Changsha Social Work College currently has 9 secondary colleges and general education centers, including the School of Civil and Social Work, the School of Business, the School of Electronic Information Engineering, the School of Software, the School of Art, the Medical College, the Funeral College, the School of Foreign Languages, and the School of Finance and Economics.
