Changsha Aeronautical Vocational and Technical College (长沙航空职业技术学院) was founded in 1973 and was upgraded to a higher vocational college in 1998. It belongs to the Air Force Equipment Department and is the only national education college in the army. Specialized higher vocational colleges, national “double colleges” construction units, and military designated training colleges for non-commissioned officers are mainly responsible for the training of non-commissioned officers for the military, and training of high-quality technical and technical personnel for military aviation equipment repair and the local aviation industry.
