Established in 2001, Changqing College of Lanzhou University of Finance and Economics (兰州财经大学长青学院, website) is an independent college hosted by Lanzhou University of Finance and Economics, headed by the Education Department of Gansu Province, and recognized by the Ministry of Education. The college recruits students nationwide, and currently has more than 7,200 students.
The college is located in Lanzhou, Jincheng, an important town on the ancient Silk Road. It has two campuses: Dianzi Street and Yuchikou. It has an excellent location, excellent school conditions, and elegant campus environment. The total building area of the school is 150,000 square meters. There are complete teaching facilities such as a voice laboratory and multimedia classrooms, and the library has a collection of 540,000 volumes.
The college has 7 departments including accounting, business administration, finance, economics and trade, computer science, art, foreign languages, and the teaching department of physical education and the teaching of ideological and political theory. 27 undergraduate majors including accounting, financial management, business management, cultural industry management, finance, insurance, art design, advertising, business English, e-commerce, international economics and trade, covering economics and management, Literature, engineering, art 5 university subjects.
The college has 2 provincial specialties (International Economics and Trade, accounting), 1 provincial teaching team (financial practice teaching team), and 1 provincial key laboratory (Gansu Small and Micro Enterprise Innovation and Development Key Laboratory) and 2 provincial innovation and entrepreneurship platforms (Gansu Province small and micro enterprise’s linkage innovation and entrepreneurship platform, school-based precision poverty alleviation innovation and entrepreneurship e-commerce talent training center).
Changqing College of Lanzhou University of Finance and Economics is currently a “member unit of China International Trade Association”, “key research unit of Development Research Center of Gansu Provincial People’s Government”, “governing unit of Gansu Marketing Association”, and “Lanzhou gardening unit”.
The college has a highly qualified faculty with both morals and talents. There are 420 full-time teachers, including 51 professors and 144 associate professors, accounting for 46% of the total number of teachers; 248 teachers with doctoral and master degrees, accounting for 59% of the total number of teachers; 52 dual-teacher teachers, accounting for the total number of teachers 12%.
