Changde Vocational Technical College (常德职业技术学院, website) is a comprehensive higher vocational college hosted by the Hunan Provincial People’s Government and in charge of the Changde Municipal People’s Government and business management of the Hunan Provincial Education Department. School and Changde Mechanical and Electrical Engineering School merged and formed. The school runs as early as the Hunan Agricultural Academy established in Changsha in 1905 (31st year of Guangxu of Qing Dynasty). The college won an excellent grade in the “Ministry of Education’s Talent Training Work Evaluation” in 2006, and passed the second evaluation of the Ministry of Education’s talent training work in 2011; it became a model vocational college in Hunan province in 2012; and it became a Hunan province in China in 2014.
