1. Overview
The School of Foreign Languages of Capital University of Economics and Business was formerly the English Department of Capital University of Economics and Business. In 2001, it developed into the Department of Foreign Language Teaching of Capital University of Economics and Business. In June 2003, the Department of Foreign Languages was established. In May 2016, the School of Foreign Languages was established. There are seven teaching units including the English Department, the Asian-European Language Department, the First British Teaching Department, the Second British Teaching Department, the British International Department, the Graduate Public Education Department, and the Foreign Teacher Teaching Department. There are seven academic research institutions including the Research Center, Intercultural Communication Research Center, Translation Research Center, and Natural Literature Research Center, as well as a language experiment center. Language experiment centers include: 18 language teaching and learning laboratories including simultaneous interpretation laboratory, digital autonomous learning center, audio-visual editing and transmission laboratory, multi-modal situation laboratory and speech laboratory. 3. Discipline construction

4. Faculty
The School of Foreign Languages currently has 67 faculty members, including 59 full-time teachers. Among the teachers, there are 6 professors and 15 associate professors; there are 28 doctors.
