Beijing University of Chinese Medicine was founded in 1956. The Russian Traditional Chinese Medicine Center successfully obtained the qualification of a medical institution of the Russian Federation and became Russia’s first traditional Chinese medicine hospital that was included in the national medical insurance system. The Australian Traditional Chinese Medicine Centre has actively promoted Chinese medicine education for Western doctors. Two masters of Chinese medicine have successfully graduated. The American Traditional Chinese Medicine Center aims at the characteristics of Chinese medicine and the frontiers of medicine. Beijing University of Chinese Medicine sponsors the national academic journals “Journal of Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine”, “Clinical Modern Chinese Medicine”, “Traditional Chinese Medicine Education” and “Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine Science” (English).
