Introduction to Anhui Xinhua University
Anhui Xinhua University (安徽新华学院, website) is located at the southern foot of Dashushan Forest Park, the capital of the historic Anhui province, Hefei. It is a provincial general undergraduate university with the right to grant bachelor’s degrees approved by the Ministry of Education. The school’s predecessor was the Anhui Xinhua Vocational College invested by the Anhui Xinhua Group Investment Co., Ltd. in 2000. In May 2005, the school was upgraded to an ordinary undergraduate college with the approval of the Ministry of Education, and was renamed Anhui Xinhua College. In December 2005, the Party Committee of Anhui Xinhua College was formally established, becoming the first private university in Anhui Province to establish a Party Committee. In 2009, it successfully passed the review of bachelor’s degree granting authority and became the first private undergraduate university in Anhui Province to obtain a bachelor’s degree granting authority. In 2013, the school successfully passed the undergraduate teaching qualification assessment of the Ministry of Education, becoming the first private undergraduate college in Anhui Province to pass the undergraduate teaching qualification assessment of the Ministry of Education. In 2015, the school was successfully approved as a local high-level university project construction unit in Anhui Province.
Anhui Xinhua University currently has more than 20,000 full-time undergraduate students, including nearly 15,000 undergraduates. There are more than 1,300 full-time teachers, of which 33% are teachers with titles of associate senior or higher. The school experimental training center currently has 180 laboratories of various types. The total amount of literature resources is over 2 million.
Anhui Xinhua University attaches importance to quality education, strengthens practical teaching, and actively develops multi-certificate education. The quality of personnel training has been continuously improved, and the school’s characteristics have become more prominent.
Anhui Xinhua University has continuously innovated the employment mode, and the employment situation of graduates has always maintained a good trend. The employment rate of previous graduates has reached more than 95%. Graduates have strong hands-on ability and high comprehensive quality, and are generally praised by employers.
