Chris (ISAC Spring 2019 Intake) is a foreign English teacher at Hangzhou Xiasha Middle School. He has been working at the school since Mar. 2019.
Chris is from the USA, as the only foreign teacher working there, he feels it is a ‘fun and interesting’ experience. Although there are not many foreigners around to hang out with, he blends into the Chinese community including co-teachers and students well and found his experience with Xiasha Middle School ‘very positive and no complaints’. We interviewed him in June and let’s hear what he says about his experience in Hangzhou!
