Introduction to Wycombe Abbey School Hangzhou
Wycombe Abbey School Hangzhou (WASHZ, 杭州威雅学校, website) takes “Every Child Can Excel” as its school-running philosophy. It builds an educational method that integrates Chinese and Western education for students. The school pays attention to the individualized growth and development of each student, and aims to cultivate innovative young leaders with an international perspective, innovative spirit, empathy, teamwork ability and a sense of social responsibility.
The school is located in the hills beside the Fairy Lake in Daicun Town, Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou City. The campus has high-standard teaching facilities to meet the requirements of high-quality education and teaching, and is designed to incorporate local cultural characteristics, and strive to create a unique educational and cultural landmark in the Xiaoshan area. The school covers a total area of about 200 acres, and the planned total number of people from kindergarten to high school is about 1500, and it can provide boarding for 960 students.
The school provides continuous education from kindergarten to high school, and provides boarding options for children over 6 years old. The school officially opens in September 2021, and enrolls students aged 3-18.
