Introduction to Huili School Hangzhou
Huili School Hangzhou (杭州市萧山区惠立学校, website) is located in the core area of Xiaoshan Science and Technology City. It hires Wellington College, a century-old British school, to provide educational consulting services. It is committed to creating a bilingual community with humanistic care and cultivating well-rounded Huili students who uphold good values and possess high-quality comprehensive talents. So that they can thrive and adapt to the ever-changing global environment.
Hangzhou Huili School will provide bilingual education for students aged 2-18. Among them, Hangzhou Huili Kindergarten will introduce the British early basic education system and provide education services for children aged 2-5 in conjunction with the “Guidelines for Kindergarten Education” of the Ministry of Education of China. The elementary and junior high school will follow the national curriculum standards and the Zhejiang Province curriculum requirements to carry out teaching. After entering the high school, the IGCSE and A-Level curriculum system will be adopted.
The school’s architectural appearance and design are inspired by the unique Victorian architectural style of Wellington College in England in the 18th century. The school has established science laboratories, art classrooms, and design technology kits to encourage students to experience the joy of learning in both theoretical and practical learning.
The Performing Arts Center provides special event rooms, dance studios and black boxes for future musicians, dancers and actors, as well as a 560-seat theater for large-scale performances.
Sports activities are also an area where Huili School pays special attention. It is equipped with a gymnasium, three football fields, a 400-meter all-weather synthetic track, basketball court, badminton court and two swimming pools, one of which is a 25-meter long, six-lane competition-level swimming pool.
