Foriegn Faculty Learn Calligraphy, ZJWEU

2019. Apr. 28th

On the afternoon of April 25th, the College of International Education held a calligraphy learning activity. The college invited four foreign teachers from New Zealand to participate.

The event was divided into four parts: the introduction of calligraphy culture history, the appreciation of masterpieces of famous artists, the experience of foreign friends in calligraphy, and the pronunciation of Chinese characters.

After listening to the introduction of calligraphy culture and enjoying the works of famous calligraphy, foreign teachers tried to write Chinese characters. Under the guidance of the Chinese students, they started from the simplest one (一), two (二), three (三), and water(水), to the more complicated New Zealand (新西兰), I love China (我爱中国), and so on. The event was fun and enjoyable. The purpose of the activity is to introduce Chinese culture to foreign teachers and enrich their lives in Hangzhou.
