On Nov. 5th, ISAC visit foreign teacher James and Teresa, who are currently teaching at Zhejiang Financial College and Hangzhou Normal University Qianjian College, respectivelly.
Autumn is in full swing in Hangzhou with colored leaves falling and fresh cool breeze brushing in warm sunshine. ISAC visited Hangzhou Xiasha university town where many of our partner universities are located. The university town is officially called Hangzhou Xiasha Higher Education Park. The provincial government decided to build the Hangzhou Xiasha Higher Education Park in August 2000 which now covers an area of 10.91 square kilometers with 15 colleges and universities in it. Now It has about 200,000 teachers and students, and is the largest high education park in Zhejiang Province.
The town has a beautiful environment covered with green trees, ponds, and lawns. It is regarded as a great learning place with complete hardware facilities for students to study and for teachers to teach. The metro line 1 links the town with the city center and makes the town convenient for daily commute. Here we visited James, a foreign teacher currently working at Zhejiang Financial College and Teresa currently working at Hangzhou Normal University Qianjiang College. Having been working in Hangzhou for more than 2 months, let’s hear what they say about their life on campus.
