On September 12, the autumn breeze in Dalian was refreshing, and the blue sky and white clouds decorated Neusoft campus. The red welcoming banners and flying flags make this castle-like campus full of festive and warm atmosphere. New students of Fall 20 gathered at the campus to start a new journey in their lives.
Students and their parents enter the campus after registration under the guidance of school staff and volunteers. The school has also set up a body temperature detection device in the dormitory. Body temperature can be checked at the entrance guard before entering the dormitory.
In order to provide more convenient services to freshmen and their parents, volunteers organized by the Youth Volunteer Association provide guidance for freshmen and their parents. “Seeing the new classmates who just registered, I remembered that last time when I came to Neusoft campus for the first time, I was carrying a large bag of luggage. There were many enthusiastic seniors who helped me, and I completed the registration smoothly. So this year I participated in the volunteer team, and did my best to help the younger students.” said Sun Shuyuan, a volunteer from Class 19002 of the School of Intelligence and Electronic Engineering.
A wall of signatures for new students and parents was set up at the orientation site. Some photos were taken for freshmen and their parents, and heart-warming tips were written for freshmen. At the same time, this year each college has also placed a WeChat group/QQ group in the “Admission Notice” to answer questions from freshmen and their parents.
