According to the state policy, Dalian Neusoft University of Information move classes online to help stop the spread the of the coronavirus. Gabriella, one of the foreign faculty, used the new teaching model together with many other teachers from the university.
“Overall today’s class went very well. The class ran smoothly through Zoom. I enjoy the Zoom function of being able to draw on the screen, as this helps me to draw the students’ attention to certain parts of the PowerPoint. I spent a lot of time doing preparation and discussing it with my course coordinator online, and making necessary changes to the syllabus. But based on today’s feedback from the students, it is worthy.”

今天网络很通畅，声音清晰，学生们很喜欢消息区回答问题和连麦交流，每次提问在消息区回应的同学很多，我也常常被学生的回答逗笑。还有些同学在消息区提出了自己的疑问，学生们之间也会就彼此的回答轻松互动。

线上课堂新方式：提问、抢答、发布任务、投票、连麦
线上开课首日，迎来了不一样的课堂环境却丝毫没有影响学生们的热情与课堂的质量。我们提前做了很多准备和预案，采用多种方式结合调动学生积极性，活跃课堂气氛，实时互动，使学生有较强的参与感，从而提升学习效率。期待不久的将来等到疫情结束我们重返校园。

将新冠肺炎疫情公共卫生事件作为案例引入课堂
“目前新型冠状病毒正在我国肆虐横行，我们将这次公共卫生事件作为案例引入课堂，启发学生讨论，不仅可以学习防疫知识，还能激发学生学习热情、加深对理论知识的理解，同时能够引导学生运用预防医学的观念和思维方法分析疾病与环境的关系，提出防控措施的建议。

今天从8点开始分别听了四门课程。看着身处祖国各地的同学都按时上课，积极参与互动，我觉得他们从假期进入到学习的状态非常快。特别是课间休息时，学生刷屏互动，感觉一切像在学校一样！学生们真是太可爱了！
