Last night, the Nanhai District’s annual Mid-Autumn International Friendship Reception was held in the National Arts Resort Hotel in Foshan. More than 300 international friends who worked in Nanhai for the economic and social development of the disctrict gathered together to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.
ISAC teachers Oliver, Madaline, Sheldan and Teresa are among those who were invited to the reception. The Mid-Autumn Festival Reception for International Friends is a brand event for prompting a more international business environment in Nanhai District of Foshan City. It is also a great event for the friendship and exchange of international friends in the Nanhai. It has been held for 15 consecutive years. In this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival reception, foreign friends are invited for the first time to visit the Nanhai special tourist attractions such as the Nanhai Museum and the National Arts Film City. Foreign friends are invited to experience the traditional Cantonese opera and watch the lion dance by tbe Foshan Xishu Minle Primary School.
Liu Junwen, the deputy mayor and member of the Municipal Party Committee, said that Foshan is currently vigorously promoting the construction of an innovation circle and high-end innovation cluster in Sanlong Bay, and taking the road of innovation in “World Science and Technology + Foshan Zhicai + Global Market”; I hope foreign experts entrepreneurs can continue to support Foshan’s construction and economic development, and drive more foreign talents to live in Foshan, study in Foshan, work in Foshan, love Foshan, and integrate into Foshan.
Foreign representative said that Nanhai is becoming a very modern city, and it is also a very clean and green city in rapid development, I am very happy to be here and witness all the changes happening around me.
