Ji’an No.1 High School (website: http://www.jxjayz.com/) is a key middle school in Jiangxi Province, located at No. 84 Yanjiang Road, Jizhou District, Ji’an City. The campus is full of trees, green grass and quiet environment. It is an ideal place to study.

The school covers an area of 168 acres and the school building area is 23,717 square meters. There are 32 classrooms and 10 offices; a large modern teaching building with 40 classrooms is about to be completed; there is also a three-storey audio-visual building, a three-story experimental building and a four-story library, which has more than 60,000 books. It is equipped with modern teaching facilities such as campus closed-circuit audio-visual education system, 3 computer rooms, 2 language labs, 1 studio, and 1 courseware production room. It also has 4 physical laboratories, 3 chemical laboratories, and 2 biological laboratory. The school sports facilities are well equipped with a standard track and field , a dedicated football field, 4 baskets, volleyball court, 2 badminton courts and multiple table tennis tables, etc.
 
Since its establishment, the school’s scale has continued to expand and the ranks of teachers have gradually increased. The school now has 49 classes and 2,793 students. The superior conditions for running schools, advanced school-running concepts and scientific teaching methods have brought the quality of education and teaching in schools to a new level. About the City

Ji’an is a prefecture-level city situated in the central region of Jiangxi province of the People’s Republic of China. It has an area of 25,219 km2 (9,737 sq mi) and as of the 2010 census, had a population of 4,810,339, of whom 538,699 live in the built-up (or metro) area made of 2 urban districts. Ji’an lies next to the Luoxiao Mountains with the Gan River running through the middle of the city.
