Hainan Tropical Ocean University (HTOU) is located in the beautiful coastal city – Sanya. Established in 1954, HTOU is the only full-time public university in Sanya. Built to implement the international talent training strategy of the university, the International School of HTOU currently runs two international undergraduate programs, namely Tourism and Leisure Management and Export-oriented Management. 1. Teaching Positions and Requirements

Oral English Teacher needed (1 post)

Requirements: Master’s degree + 2 years teaching experiences in oral English+ TEFL/TESOL Certificate.

The position is available immediately for a one-year contract (including a probation period of one month), with the possibility of renewing for two or more years depending on performance.

2. Working Hours and Holidays

Teaching with 16 hours (at most) each week.

Paid holidays: two days off each week; all public holidays in China; paid summer and winter vacations.

3. Salary

Gross salary consists of base salary plus a housing allowance. Base salary per month is commensurate with qualification and experience, ranging from RMB 7000 to 10000 and 80% of that for the probation month. The housing allowance amounts to RMB 2250 per month.

4. Allowances

Social insurance, medical check fee and cost of residence permit are covered by the university.

International air tickets allowance amounts to RMB 10000 each contract year.
