Job Description
The role of a Foreign English teacher is to help our students speak English and improve practical English skills. Those responsibilities include preparing lessons and lesson material, teaching young adult students oral English, holding counseling sessions, assisting colleagues, maintaining records, writing progress reports, etc. You will have 16 classes per week, each class for 45 minutes; there is no office hours required for this position. Zhanjiang is a coastal city on the southern tip of China with warm winter, good air quality and low living cost
1. You will have 14-18 classes per week
2. You will be teaching oral English, reading and writing courses
Salary and Benefits
1. Monthly salary of 8,500 (Bachelor’s Degree) to 9,200 RMB/month (Master’s Degree)
2. 10,000 RMB flight allowance
3. 2,200 RMB travel allowance
4. Free accommodation provided
5. Unpaid winter or summer vacations for the first year. Vacations will be paid if the teacher decides to renew the contract.
Requirements
1. Native English speakers
2. Bachelor’s degree or above
3. TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate preferred
4. Under the age of 50, in good health
5. 2 years of English teaching experience
6. No criminal background
About The City – Zhanjiang
