Introduction to Chifeng No.2 High School
Chifeng No.2 High School (赤峰二中) is one of the model ordinary high schools in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and one of the top 100 middle schools in the country. The school is located in the west section of Yulong Street, Xincheng District, Chifeng City. The campus covers an area of more than 200 acres and has a construction area of 68,000 square meters. There are also 9,000 square meters of gymnasiums open to the outside world.
The school was founded in 1924. The school has a total of 63 classes in 6 grades of junior high school, with more than 4,300 students and 263 faculty members. The school has teaching area, sports area, living area and leisure area. The school has 9,000 square meters of basketball, volleyball, tennis and other sports venues, a 400-meter international standard track and field stadium, and a fully functional and advanced gymnasium. In 2014, it successfully hosted some of the 13th Inner Mongolia Games.
