Introduction to Chengdu Shishi High School
Chengdu Shishi High School (Sichuan No.4 High School, 成都石室中学, website), the first batch of first-level model ordinary high schools in Sichuan Province.
The predecessor of the school can be traced back to the last year of Emperor Jingdi of the Western Han Dynasty (about 141 BC). It has traveled all the way from the Han Dynasty and passed 2160 years. It is internationally known as a “millennium famous school” with the meaning of “Chinese specimen” and created the history of Chinese education. Even the miracle of the history of education in the world.
Chengdu Shishi High School has Confucian Temple Campus and Beihu Campus. The Confucian Temple campus covers an area of 67 acres with a total construction area of 100788 square meters; the Beihu campus covers an area of 168 acres with a total construction area of 93420 square meters. The Confucian Temple campus has 37 high school classes with more than 2,000 students; the Beihu campus has 30 high school classes with more than 1,600 students, 21 junior high school classes with more than 1,000 students; the two campuses have a total of 340 students.
The main buildings of the Confucian Temple campus are the teaching building, comprehensive building, information center, school history hall, canteen, student dormitory, library, Yifu building and gymnasium. Classrooms are equipped with the latest multimedia equipment, and laboratory experiments are fully equipped and advanced. There are net-class classrooms in all grades, and the teaching courses are broadcast live to the participating schools every day. The playground is equipped with basketball courts, volleyball courts, table tennis courts and indoor gymnasiums.
The main buildings of Beihu campus include teaching building, administrative building, experiment building, information center, canteen, student dormitory, teacher dormitory, library, gymnasium and multi-function hall. Classroom teaching equipment, laboratory experiment equipment, student accommodation conditions, dining hall dining conditions, sports venue conditions, etc. are all leading in the city and even the province. The multi-functional hall has an advanced atmosphere; the library has a complete functional layout, with a total collection of 90,000 books; the gymnasium includes a gymnasium, piano room, basketball court, badminton court, gymnasium, general technical laboratory, etc.; the playground includes standard track and field sports courts, basketball courts , Volleyball court, tennis court, badminton court and table tennis court.
The school has a strong faculty, noble ethics, excellent business skills and first-class comprehensive quality. The school currently has 501 faculty members (including expatriates and overseas students), including 119 doctors and masters.
